If God Led You…Then?
You voluntarily committed yourself to a church. No one put
a gun to your head and said, “You must go to that church.” If
God led you to the church, then He now expects you to respect
the authority in that church.
Trust your pastor.
Since God has instituted His delegated authority in the
church, He is also bound by His honor to maintain and defend it.
Fearing the Lord Involves Respecting God’s Delegated Authority
That is a serious reality. I have seen God defend His delegated
authority over and over again, dealing quickly with those who
oppose His appointed pastors. In fact, I have knelt down and
humbly asked God, “Lord, please deal with this person who is
causing problems and dissention in the church.”
