Likewise, the restoring of the mind is a process that will require
a putting forth of effort. It will require time and effort to feed and
meditate on God’s Word. It will require an effort on your part to bring
that Word into every thought and action of your daily life, but it’s
worth every effort. Don’t shun that restoration process, that process
of renewing your mind with the Word of God, for if you’re faithful
to it, your life will never be the same. It will push what may be wrong
out of your mind and your life, and it will allow God’s best to flow
– it will transform you.
Realize that God values and loves you so much that He won’t
leave you as He found you. God’s Word will reach into every part of
your life and bring it in line with His Word and His plan; it only
requires that God have your full agreement and cooperation. It’s a
thrilling, positive work. Let it be a thrill and a joy to you to submit
yourself to the far-reaching effects of the Word; it will work mightily
in you. Don’t tire of or quit this divine work of renewing your mind
with His Word, for if you’re faithful to it, it will transform your life
and you will experience all that God has provided for you.
