Just like generations before and since these people entered a
covenant with God, followed Him for a time then compromised.
The Lord makes four basic declarations about tithing in this
passage from Malachi:
1 If you are not giving tithes and offerings you are robbing
God!
2 If you are not tithing your finances are under a curse!
3 The tithe must be brought in to the storehouse!
4 “Test Me!” Obey God with tithes to test His faithfulness.
