Consequences for Disobeying God
The American Church has largely forgotten that there are
real consequences for disobeying God. The Nation certainly does
not believe it! Consequences are evident everywhere, but for
some reason people...including Christians...don’t make the
connection between disobedience and consequence. This may be
in part due to the microwave, instant access, ATM mentality of
society. We expect everything to be instantaneous, but
consequences for disobedience are not always immediate. As a
result, people wrongly believe that there are no consequences for
sin!
