Above the Storm-Carol Hopson

In praise to God, let me tell you how God swooped
under us and saved us, just when we thought we were
about to crash. We had been waiting eleven long months
for direction, for a job, for what God wanted us to do. Then,
just before we lost all hope, God did the following in a period
of forty-eight hours:
He gave us the exact ministry that we had
desired and prayed for
He sold our house to the first people that
walked in
He found a home for us to buy that was
exactly what we needed
He moved us to within two hours of our children
and grandchildren
He provided for our financial needs in miraculous
ways
He gave us willing, eager hearts to serve Him
in our new ministry near San Diego, California
What a beautiful picture of our Heavenly Father’s love
and care for us. He certainly gave us a very important “flying
lesson,” and He taught us a great deal about resting in
His loving arms when we couldn’t understand what He
was doing.
