In the church, God has given a spiritual authority to those placed in position of leadership. We need to respect and submit to them, making sure we are not a hindrance to what God is trying to do through them. Satan wants to cause division. God has ordained that He is going to reach the world and minister to the world through the Church. Satan wants to do anything he can to neutralize the Church’s ability to do that. One of his strategies is to find willing participants in the church who will sow seeds of dissention, discord and distrust, especially against church leadership. If a church refuses to follow and support their leaders, that church will never accomplish much in their community.
