THINGS ADDED TO YOU As we already read in the passage in Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus instructed us not to take thought for the things we have need of. We’re not to worry about anything, for worry won’t add anything to our lives. Instead, He tells us to, “… seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you” (Matthew 6:33). As you seek first the kingdom of God – putting spiritual things first, putting the Word first, and helping to further God’s kingdom in the earth – the things you need will be added to you. The things you need aren’t added to you by seeking them through worry, but God is able to add to you as you seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness.
