Do parents have any idea what their child faces each day in their world? How about church youth leaders, do they even know?

I took a class on how to draw Anime at the local library. An 18 and a 20 year old were teaching. Before we were through, Jon the 18 year old was talking all about the books he was writing and illustrating on demons… as casually as he would talk about his cat or his dog. Jon just became the department head of Anime at our public library!

Well, “It takes a lot to get kid’s interest these days," spoken by the “Christian” mother who is all excited about a new book on the secrets of the world, (so that she could talk intelligently with her New Age daughter and friends).

I say, “Have they ever read the first chapter of Ezekiel?” “And then, as they stood with folded wings, there was a voice from above the dome over their heads. Above the dome there was something that looked like a throne, sky-blue like a sapphire, with a human-like figure towering above the throne. From what I could see, from the waist up he looked like burnished bronze and from the waist down like a blazing fire. Brightness everywhere! The way a rainbow springs out of the sky on a rainy day—that’s what it was like. It turned out to be the Glory of God!”

Talking to a couple who have adopted several teen-age children was like hearing an episode from “Twilight Zone”. This one is into Buddhism, that one has totally turned her back on God, another is sick and depressed and his parents wouldn’t be surprised if he will try to take his own life.

What have we (our society) been doing that our kids (our society) haven’t grasped the event that split history into “before” and “after” and changed the world—the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus! God, entering history and making it unmistakably clear that he is on our side.

Have you given up on EVER relating to your pre-teen? What is GOD up to? What does it mean that Jesus “saves”? What’s behind all this, and where is it going? What can we do to turn the tide?

My book and Bible study, ' Bluebell, Sunflower and Frog Horn' is a delightfully illustrated fiction story filled with revelation and creative tools to encourage dialog between adults and young people.

How do we experience the freedom to live, love, laugh and be happy? Where are the mentors who are experiencing joy from the inside? Happiness is infectious. When are we going to “get-it-together” and find out for ourselves the “spilling out” quality of Christ’s life that accounts for the joy of Christians? History has proven; it cannot be horded or contained. Is it time for you to share?

I am looking for an “Angel” to help me get this book published and on the book shelves. Can you help me?
