About the Author
Dr. Peter L. Colman, born in Goffstown, NH, was the only son of Robert and Doris Colman. He graduated from Nyack College (70’ B.A. English), Gordon-Cromwell Theological Seminary (73’ M. Div.), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (99’ Ph. D.). Peter and his wife, Judith, served as missionary educators in West Africa (1978-92). Dr. Colman has taught at many colleges and universities; his specialty is intercultural communication. He is a lecturer, conference speaker, free-lance writer and poet. Peter and Judith have four children and seven grandchildren, and currently reside in Round Lake Beach, Illinois.

Too late for Christmas?
Christmas is upon us. From a marketing and distribution standpoint of your book or books , if you do not have the wheels in motion, it is not too late to get book sales.
If your cover design is strong, and the editing is sound, even if your book is POD or Print on Demand , many local bookstores will stock your book on consignment if you personally approach them.
Also, don't forget small speaking groups. Don't rely on your publisher or publishing house to do your footwork. Call your local paper, visit your local radio stations, and get out in public.
As a writer , your work is not done just because the book is published .

Don't give up!
Stay persistent! I recently viewed an author I helped 23 years ago, and he has now written over 30 books - with sales in the millions! Whether you are a beginning editor or writer , or are serving by ghostwriting , do not give up! Your time will come.
I've written 83 books, and am still learning the new challenges of printing , publishing , and marketing and distribution of books . Just keep plugging, and you will make it.
